The BiG Sports Dinner has been in existed for one year now. The event mostly focuses on raising charity funds. After it was initiated last year in September in London, the event will be back again at the same venue this year in September. The event which was launched by its main sponsor Microgaming; one of the biggest software provide will be held at the iconic The Dorchester hotel, based in the city of London on the 17th of September 2015. During the inauguration of the event last year, a total of 250 delegates took to their seats and were accorded with all sorts of entertainment that ranged from illusions, raffles as well as awards show.
Bigger and better charitable Function
The main agenda in the current year’s event is to bring more attendees and make it bigger and bigger. This will be achieved as the organizers have sent invitation cards to various celebrities who would range from the sporting world as well as other dignitaries to be observed. As it was during its initiation, the gigantic Microgaming has claimed that will be the host sponsor of the PlayItForward campaign.
For the second year running, Austin Healey will be the MC and will be accompanied by great global names such as former Tottenham’s coach Harry Redknaap, Jamie Spencer, Chris Kamara from Sky TV and several celebrities. It is however not clear if the anticipated illusion will again form the basis of much fun as it is intended to perform magic among the audience.
MiGS in Malta
This will also be accompanied by another major event that would involve the launching of the MiGS an associate of Microgaming’s BiG Sports Dinner on the 17rh of November in Malta. This will be an act of expanding the popularity of the charity event beyond the walls of London. The two events see the presence of John Barnes who is fully committed to charity work.
The BiG Foundation and Microgaming are on the brick of yet another big charity event that will have a hand in supporting several charities among them the Bobby Moore Fund, The Kinetic Foundation, Restart Rugby, The Injured Jockeys Fund, The Lord’s Taverners and Meningitis Now. This year’s event is expected to surpass the £12,000 that was collected in last year’s edition.
