Golf Fans Miss Tiger

Golf Fans Miss Tiger

The sport is missing Tiger since he underwent back surgery and it is feared that the poor show up at tournaments is due to this. Fans are asking “Where is Tiger?”

Although there are other accredited players like Jordan Spieth, Rory Mcllroy and Jason Day who have managed to draw hug audiences, the show up is still not that great.

A golf executive with IMG,Kennerly said, “Tiger still delivers that unconventional fan that golf needs. This was evident when Tiger hurt himself last year and could not play the Honda Classic, where the sales of tickets to the tournament softened a little bit.”

The question at hand is, “Can Tiger Woods be replaced?” Well, I will let you be the judge of that. However, it isn’t much a factor to argue on since Tiger is by far the greatest player of his generation.

Many have said that to them, without Tiger in the game, we are missing something. It has been rumored that Tiger might not return to the sport due to his setbacks with the back surgery. We have not seen him on the course for such a long time it seems like forever.

Tiger however dismissed these rumors on Wednesday after he released a video that shows him taking a full swing with a 9 iron on an indoor swing simulator. “Progressing nicely” was the caption that couldn’t have been missed by anyone with sound mind.

The swing appeared perfect and to many it consoled them with the idea that the golf star will soon be back to wow us.

The timing of Woods back to the game is still unknown. By him not being able to play, the sport has suffered a major blow in terms of dollars and cents. People still want to see and appreciate Tiger’s game. He is still an enormous asset to golf.

21- year old Garbine Muguruza, survived a tight second set against Timea Babos to reach her first time ever quarterfinal at the Qatar Total Open. It would be correct to say that Muguruza played one of her best tennis to beat Timea Babos, who is the current ace leader in 2016 6-2, 7-5.
