Footgolf takes over pitch and putt

Get ready Wirral! The well- known two UK sports are already at your doorstep, according to the latest news. Footgolf is now available for the pitch and putt course which is located at the Arrowe Park, with particularly improved holes and t- shirts that are conveniently altered to represent the recent games.  There have also been some alterations in the golf holes so that they can easily accommodate footballs. The footgolf players are also aiming to finish their game in the 9 to 18 holes, in a few shots, within a very short period of playing. Compared to traditional golf holes, the footgolf holes are much shorter, with an average length of 100 yards.

However, they are not trying to do away with the traditional golf holes, they will be merged together, but the footgolf holes will have new mats and t- shirt marks being fitted into larger hole. The mixture of the two games have attracted a wide pool of potential players, both interested in the traditional golf and  the footgolf, though this hybrid set of games have only being available in Liverpool and Cheshire. The cabinet member for Leisure and culture, Cllr Chris Meaden stated that footgolf is an upcoming sport that attracts a wide array of people who travel to use the golf courses.

The cabinet member also said that they are been very careful to ensure that the municipal resources are not being negatively affected, and they have therefore come up with ways to make sure the resources are not affected. He also pledged that by 2020, the people will be able to have a chance in leisure and cultural occasions, footgolf is among the new sports that they will be planning in having around. Players will be able to play from 8 am to 6pm on weekdays, and from 7 am to 6pm during weekends.s.

Adults will be able to play for 5 euros, while juniors will play fir 3 euros, for every 9 holes. Families will have special packages set aside for them.
