The American football quarterback, Michael Dwayne Vick is quoted saying that he was ‘dominating too much’. Earlier this week, Michael Vick said that he actually felt bad for his opponents then. He is well known as the ‘dual-threat quarterback’. He might not have done so well at the NFL but when he did, he sent chills down the NFL defenders spines.
This interview was held on phone on the ‘Dan Patrick Show’. He was asked plenty of questions during this interview regarding his past, his present and his future plans. On whether he felt bad for opponents he might have flustered during any some games, Vick recollected that it wasn’t always the prettiest of situations especially since some players would tear their ACLs and or sprain their ankles. Vick further admitted that he felt like there were times he was dominating too much.
It’s not over for Vick after 13 years. He looks forward to getting another chance as he feels ready to jump right back. Unfortunately, the two years he spent out the league will remain as stamp on his record. He served a prison sentence for facilitating and funding a dog fighting ring on his property and was also on suspension.
The Steelers had the 36 year old on last season on a one year contract. Vick has previously played for the Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets. Given his record, it would be difficult to get NFL teams reach out to him and also factoring competition from new talent and younger players. However, he holds the record for the fastest quarterback ever at his pro day. He aspires to play more games in the future and hopes that he will be given the chance to do what he hasn’t done yet and prove that he still got some game left in him.
Michael Vick acknowledges Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees as some of the best quarterbacks he ever faced. On the quarterbacks that could presently outrun him, he mentioned Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson.
