Romanian football giants Steaua Bucuresti has received a huge boost after it was officially claimed that the football club had struck a deal with NetBet a European sports betting operator. Following the legalization of sports betting in Romania, NetBet decided to take this crucial opportunity in making a productive deal with the football club that would see the firm being the club’s sponsor.
This deal has two main agenda. Initially the well being of players, coaches and the staff for the club will be put on check with the new deal. Nonetheless, signs and posters of the betting firm will posted on the club’s stadium with adverts being made via digital platform for Steaua Bucuresti during match days. This would popularize NetBet among those clients who had little or no knowledge about the betting site. They will be accorded guidelines on how to register with NetBet and this in turn would bring in more revenue for the company.
According to NetBet marketing, the deal is one of their largest investments ever to be conducted in Romanian soil and that with Steaua Bucuresti forming the highest number of fan followers, following its huge achievements in the Romanian league success would be eminent.
Steaua Bucuresti had claimed to have received several partnership deals but in the end it opted for NetBet for the firm has shown enormous growth and development in the betting industry as well as their deep knowledge on Romanian football.
In his speech to welcome the deal, CMO at NetBet Global Alexander Mangaud highlighted that football has been crucial as it forms part of their product with events related to football providing them with a vital section in their income. He continued to say that their main agenda in choosing the industry was not for business purpose only but rather for their passionate in football which would bring together. This passion has been shared by the two parties.
Mangaud added that the club has been a symbol of the above attitudes and values and this formed the fundamental aspect into which they opted for a deal with Steaua Bucuresti. This would help the two parties’ progress marvelously unlike when they function independently.
