A greyhound trainer Richard William Fall aged 45 has been accused of child sex offences by the Ipswich District Court. It is alleged that William Fall abused a minor aged 10 between February and May of 2014. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A doctrine presented before the court by Crown prosecutor Elizabeth Kelso claimed that William Fall met the minor after she and her parents moved to a nearby house. They became so close after he offered the girl a job as assistance in cleaning the greyhound with a daily salary of $5.

She continued to tell the court that one day the girl visited William his home late in the evening as one of the greyhounds was to give birth. It is from here that the girl fell asleep and woke up few hours later to find the greyhound already given birth. The accused took her to the kennel to show the newborns only on arriving to hold her close and tell her how much he loved her and in the process tried to kiss her.

The prosecutor went on to claim that this is not the first time the accused was involved in the malicious acts. She went on to say that one day the accused invited the girl for a trip where they would take one of the sick greyhounds to a Brisbane vet. All over a sudden, the car broke down and the two had to wait for road side assistance. This was a perfect chance for Mr. Fall who pulled the girl to the back seat, removed her pants and started conducting oral sex on her despite the girl telling him to stop.

The prosecutor continued to say that in the following weeks, the accused would abuse the minor via digital raping during horse ride and topped it with showing her three pornographic videos on his phone.

The incident came out in May when the girl’s mother asked her daughter how Mr. Fall treated her. Surprisingly, the girl revealed the whole truth which prompted the mother to call the police who detained the suspect. After being interviewed the following morning by the police, Mr. Fall was charged with five child sex offences.

The trial will be lead by Judge Sarah where nine witnesses are to align in court for three days.
