Kyle Lafferty to pay a fine of £23,000 after pleading guilty to FA betting charge

Kyle Lafferty to pay a fine of £23,000 after pleading guilty to FA betting charge

The former Norwich Rangers striker by the name Kyle Lafferty has pleaded guilty to accepting a Football Association betting charge. He further received a strict warning and in addition to a £23,000 fine from the FA. Lafferty had placed a bet on a match that caused him to breach the FA rule E8, he did this on February 20, 2016. The bet he placed was on the result, conduct, progress or any other feature or occurrence relating to the football match or competition. The 28-year old striker made only one premier league appearance on the season of 2015-16. He later spent the end of the season on Birmingham City before featuring for Northern Ireland at Euro 2016.

Even though Northern Ireland and Norwich did not play on the said date, it was wrong for Lafferty to place the bet since the E8 rule forbids professional players from betting on matches they are participating in. the rule also forbids players from placing bets on matches they have influence on or even on any other football match taking place anywhere in the world. He has therefore being given until August 5th to respond to the misconduct charge. He was thereafter charged and fined £23,000.

There was an FA statement release which stated that £23,000 had being placed as a fine on Kyle Lafferty after he pleaded guilty to the offence. He was also given a warning relating to his future conduct. The player fell out of favor with Norwich since he made six appearances and only scored one goal. In the qualifying matches he managed to score for Northern Irish and also participated in the Euro 2016 where he played for his country in the last 16 match. The transfer window is due to close on August 31st and the striker is expected to move to another club before then.

According to Bettingexpert Chris Smalling is the ultimate England Player

According to Bettingexpert Chris Smalling is the ultimate England Player

Chris Smalling has been selected as the perfect England player by bettingexpert.com. This conclusion came shortly after the announcement of England’s Euro 2016 squad which was due earlier in the week. Every England international player from the last ten years was assessed by betting expert. The assessment showed that the ultimate footballer needs to be around 24 years of age, must have been born from South England, must have started playing his first international at 22 years of age, is right footed and has had three clubs, with the most dominant clubs being Liverpool, Leeds United or Chelsea.

The bettingexpert research has shown that 40% of the last 112 England players have had brown hair, while 36% have had dark brown eyes and the overall height has been 6’0”. Thus the Light-colored players who have hopes for the trip to the Euros have to consider visiting the hairstylists. Chris Smalling meets five key requirements that are; he was born in London, he is right footed, has dark brown eyes and he made his first England performance at the age of 22 years in the year 2011. He is also has an average age of 24 years and he has performed for two of the required football clubs.

There are other nominees for the class of 2016, including Jordan Henderson who has met 5 of the required requirements, Danny Welbeck who has met 5 of them, Nathaniel Clyne(4), Adam Lallana(4), Tom Heaton(4), and Daniel Sturridge(4). Over the last ten years only players Shaun Wright-Philips and Alan Smith have come close to meeting the set criteria since they met over five key traits. The Chief Strategy Officer at Better Collective, Thomas HØgenhaven stated that they were looking for ways to help electorates make the most informed decisions in betting.

This is to mean that every needed aspect was to be looked into keenly through assessing the form, and looking at the trends and coming up with evidence of which bets provide real value. The fascinating thing about all these is that when players who meet these traits of England internationals are looked up they do not display the expected players. However, England players all have the same patterns overtime in terms of age, size, birthplace and looks. The research carried out identified various key aspects from 112 England players such as average age, height, hair color, eye color and the common birthplaces plus the past clubs each player has played for in previous years.

Chris Smalling is awaiting the final decision of whether he will be considered as England’s ultimate player.

The rise of Bob Bradley through Global Soccer Ladder

The rise of Bob Bradley through Global Soccer Ladder

He may be an American but has traveled across the globe nurturing various soccer talents. 57-year-old Bob Bradley the current Head Coach of French Ligue 2 outfit Harve A.C. has had previous encounters in two different continent grounds. Bradley was once the U.S.A head coach, Egyptian National Coach as well as Norwegian side Stabaek manager.

Bob started his coaching career in his native land in college, MLS and later the US national team. A disastrous loss to Mexico in 2011 was the final blow to have experience as the US head coach. After he had been relieved off his duties, Bradley was approached by the Egyptian Football Association, which offered him a job as the manager of the Egyptian National Team. He would later go on to lose in the final qualifying match of the 2014 World Cup, which was enough to miss the Brazilian showdown.

Bob would then quit as the Egyptian head coach after the January 25 Revolution in Port Said. He moved to Norway with his family where he managed Norwegian side Stabaek through to the Europa League. It was one of the most times for him and his team which was promoted a year before he took charge. However, his tactics lifted the team up to third place finish, a cup semi-final spot as well as qualification for the Europa League. Two years down the line, Bradley opted for another test and, this time, he moved to French capital where he took charge of the French Ligue 2 outfit, Harve A.C, which is now owned by American businessman Vincent Volpe.

His success, however, comes at a cost too. Being an American, most English top flights were reluctant to offer him a job as they claim to be in need of a coach with Premier League experience which he lacked.

Le Havre is now placed third in the table after beating rivals Paris F.C and is in the automatic promotion sport to French Ligue. Bradley headed to Oslo to finalize some paper work of the UEFA Pro license which would allow him to manage any club in Europe.
